CJ maintains its independence and donors can’t influence its policy, violate principles of transparency or try to take an unethical commission under the word “overhead”. CJ demands full public financial disclosure from its donors as a condition for receiving a grant. Finally, donors fund CJ but are not partners in the sence that they can’t use CJ results as theirs. Several donors have supported Conservation Justice since September 2010:
