The Departmental chief of Forestry in Mitzic (North Gabon) has been arrested by Judicial Police on Wednesday 29th after he took flight. As he is involved in several case of illegal logging and wood trafficking, let’s hope he will be sentenced strongly by Gabonese Justice. Conservation Justice has participated in several missions, achieved investigations and diffused report showning his guilt. The last mission has given opportunity for authorities to arrest illegal loggers who have denunciated the Departmental Chief of Forestry and his colleagues.
Le chef de cantonnement des eaux et forêts de Mitzic (Nord Gabon) a finalement été arrêté mercredi 29 décembre par le Police Judiciaire après trois semaines de fuite.Etant impliqué dans plusieurs affaires de trafic de bois, espérons qu’il sera jugé strictement par la Justice Gabonaise. Conservation Justice a participé à plusieurs missions, réalisé des enquêtes et diffusé des rapports confirmant sa culpabilité. La dernière mission réalisée avait permis aux autorités d’arrêter des exploitants illégaux qui ont pu dénoncer le chef de cantonnement et ses collègues !
