Emile Nbouke was just arrested! Yesterday (on 5th of Augst) I wrote you that the Nightline broadcast put us in a race against the clock, since he becomes famous… After much effort by several people the Office de Repression of Togo finally managed to arrest him! Julian Rademeyer and I had a hell of a mission a few months back, and went back frustrated. Another happy ending. Nbouke was arrested with hundereds of Kg of ivory.

The project in Togo was initated by LAGA and Conservation Justice in November 2012, and got his first important result!
